Alcatel Lucent ONT

I got an alcatel lucent g-010g-p which after some investigation seems to be a rebranded nokia ont of some sort (found out after poaking about on the software)

I’m writing this post to just document a bit of what i found messing around with it.

The only way i found to connect to it is by the telnet server that it has, it seems that some other variants of this also have a web server but my device doesn’t.

To connect to it you have to first set your computer IP address to 192.168.1.25
connect the cable from the pc to the ONT and disconnect the it from the fiber
press and hold the reset button to reset (duh) the ont and after it powers up you should be able to connect to it by telnet with the ip 192.168.1.251

There are two users on the device, a installer uset where you can set the GPON password and a admin user where you can basically do whatever you want and gives you access to the linux shell

The username/passwords for the users are:

CRAFTSPERSON : ALC#FGU
for the installer

root : huigu309
for the admin

to activate the admin console you first have to type “enable”
then you can explore all options, and to enter the linux shell go to system, shell

I don’t know if anyone is reading this but i managed to extract the SIP user and password from an ORANGE router.
